Power Company Limited (GENCO-I) is a public sector power generation company,
created under wapda’s restructuring of power wing with the mission to
significantly contribute with socio-economic development of the country by
producing optimum electrical energy at cheaper rates in an environment friendly
manner. Applications are invited for the requirement of suitable candidates to
fill the positions for JPCL (GENCO-I) on one year contract basis which is
likely to become permanent after completion of contract period with
satisfactory performance on the criteria given against each position.
Applications are invited for deputy manager (corporate finance) post. Candidate
must be member of the institute of chartered accountants / institute of cost
and management accountants, or M.Com. / MBA (major in finance) with five years
of post-qualification experience in senior position of BPS 17 or equivalent
thereof in audits and account of government departments, semi government
organizations, corporation, autonomous bodies or large public limited companies
of repute.
Assistant Manager (Chemical)/Junior Chemist having B.E
/B.Sc. in chemical engineering or M.Sc. in chemistry are required to apply. For
assistant manager (security) retired officers of the armed force of the rank of
captain, lieutenant or equivalent with having relevant experience will be
preferred. Company also required services of assistant manager (HR/admin) and assistant
manager (P/SA) having MBA / MPA / MA (HRM) / M Com / MSc (computer science) or
master degree in economics, English, statistics and mathematics with minimum
two first division in academic career. Candidates must be capable of operating
computer with special emphasis on windows and Microsoft office. High Pressure
Welder having matric with two years certificate from government technical and
vocational school in the trade with minimum seven years of experience in some
large industrial concern, fire protection officer having BSc in chemistry with
two years of experience are required to apply. Candidate must be qualified in
station master officer course, leading fireman and fireman courses. Company
required stenographer having BA/ BSc with 80 word per minute speed in
shorthand, trained graduate teacher having B.Ed. / MA in education with second
division, audit assistant having B.Com preferably with auditing and advance
accounting as a special subject with three years of experience. Other positions
includes stock verifier, stenographer-II, computer operator, khateeb cum imam,
low pressure welder, boiler mason, junior clerk, auto mechanic, auto electrician,
laboratory assistant, security guard.
Instruction and General Conditions
Provincial/ regional/
women / minorities quota will be observed as per policy. Only the candidates
possessing the domicile of Sindh province can apply for all posts. Candidates
applying on appropriate application form for the post available on NTS website will
only be considered for short listing. Serving applications are advised to apply
through proper channel along with no objection certificate issued by their
respective departments. Only short listed candidates will be called for
interview. No TA/ DA will be allowed for written test. Result awaiting
candidates are not eligible to apply. Incomplete or any disinformation in
application will lead towards disqualification. Original documents must be
presented at the time of interview. The recruitment quota will be followed as
specified by the federal government. Application form can be downloaded from www.nts.org.pk.
Eligibility of candidates shall be determined on the basis of academics, NTS
test and interview by the department. Separate application form with fee will
be submitted, if applying for more than one post. Roll number slip containing
the information regarding test centre, date and timing shall be separately
dispatched directly to candidates by NTS at least one week before the test. The
candidature of the candidate can be cancelled at any stage of the test even
after the result if not meeting the eligibility criteria including age,
domicile, experience and qualification.
