Aga Khan Health Services, Pakistan (AKHS,P), an agency of the Aga Khan
Development Network, is non-profit company operating in Pakistan to provide
primary and secondary health care to needy population. At a time of great change
and with many current initiatives and ambitious for the future, AKHS,P provide
a uniquely challenging work environment. We at AKHS,P invite applications for
the following positions at our different units in Gilgit Baltistan region.
Health Promotion Officer
The incumbent will be responsible for planning, coordinating and
supervising gender sensitive behaviour change communication activities related
to health promotion and disease prevention in project areas. Work with
internal/ external stakeholders and consultants for day to day management of
related activities.
Candidates should be post graduate in Behavioural Sciences / Social
Sciences, MPH or closely related field with at least two to three years of
experience preferably in public health of managing BBC or community
mobilization activities in multi stakeholder environment preferably in Gilgit
Balistan. Candidates should possess excellent communication (verbal and written
in English and Urdu), computer and management skills.
E-Health Coordinator
The incumbent will be responsible for coordination between e-Health
resource centre Karachi and health facilities at Gilgil for the implementation
of e-health activities. He will be responsible for
installation, maintenance and managing of video conferencing system and
facilitation of tele consultation clinic.
Candidates should have bachelor degree of computer science or closely
related field with at least 1-2 years of experience in relevant field.
Applications are required for Family Physician post from candidates having MCPS in family medicine. For General Surgeon post, candidates should be FCPS or equivalent qualification in the
specialty and at least two years of post-graduate
experience. For Paediatrician post, candidates should be FCPS (Peads) or equivalent qualification in
specialty or MCPS. Candidates having experience would
be preferred. For Gynaecologist, candidates should be FCPS/MCPS in Gyne & Obs or MRCOG. All candidates must be registered with PMDC.
Head Nurse
The incumbent should have diploma in general nursing. Candidates having
post RN, BScN degree will be preferred. He should possess at least 2-4 years of
post-qualification experience as Head Nurse with recognized national /
international institution. Candidates having experience in ICU and emergency
will be preferred.
