Directors of division.
National Institute of Electronics is an autonomous organization of Ministry of Science and Technology. It is engaged in design and development works in various discipline of electronics. The institute intends to employ dynamic and talented Pakistani nationals having prescribed qualification and experience for contract / regular positions. 

Directors of Divisions

Candidates having degree in electronics engineering/ computer design/science / telecommunication preferably with one or more post graduate degrees and professional qualifications i.e. M.Sc. (Engineering) Ph.D. and membership of professional engineering institutes are encourage to apply. First-hand experience of designing substantial system is required in computers, digital telecommunication systems and industrial control systems. The experience should be over both hardware and software appropriate design methodologies. For Ph.D. minimum experience is ten years, for M.Sc. minimum experience is thirteen years, for B.Sc. minimum experience is sixteen years is required. Additional design experience in the field of medical and consumer electronics would be an advantage. At least five years’ experience of using appropriate project and program E-management methodologies, tool and techniques. In all cases the candidate should have successfully completed at least six years in a responsible position in industry, utilities, services or government in appropriate capacities. Research and design publications in the field of electronics or related disciplines in national / international journals of repute would be an advantage. Total number of positions are two with salary package equal to Basic Pay Scale 20 for three years of contract. 

Job Requirement

Job requirement includes overall project management in organization, coordination, implementation and integration of research and development work in electronics, computer, hardware and software, telecommunications, instrumentation and control system.

Technical and economic evaluation of electronics development projects, analysis of current developments in technology and market trends. Requirement analysis of private and public sector organizations and coordinator of selection and implementation of appropriate development projects. Budgeting planning and execution of development projects. Performance of technical managerial and administrative function necessary for the effective achievements of the above mentioned duties are required. In addition to this, assistant professor of Histopathology, Hematology, Microbiology, Chemical Pathology and medical Education are also required. Demonstrators and supporting staff for all basic health sciences departments of SMC are also required. Qualification and experience for all above mentioned posts are as per PMDC criteria.
