Description
Vacancies are announced
in Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) in Lahore Development Authority (LDA). Applications
are invited from suitable candidates domiciled in Punjab having qualification
and experience in relevant field on contract basis for the period of three
years. For the post of assistant director (engineer) or SDO, candidates must
have bachelor degree in civil / mechanical/ electrical engineering from a recognized
university. For assistant director (planning
and development) or for private housing scheme post, candidates having B.Sc. in
engineering or B.E. in civil or in environmental engineering with university
recognized by higher education commission are encourage to apply. Candidates having
M.Sc. will be preferred. For above two posts, candidates must be registered as
professional engineer with Pakistan Engineering Council. Assistant director
finance and revenue having master of business administration. Master of commerce
or MA economics from any recognized university. ACMA /ACCA /CA /MBA with major
in finance or BBA (honours) qualified are required for assistant director post
in financial management and recovery. For sub engineer post, three years
diploma after matriculation in civil / mechanical / electrical from any
recognized institute is required.
Salary package for first
four post are according to BPS- 17 and for sub engineer, it is according to BPS
– 11. Upper age limit for all positions are twenty five years. Five years
general age relaxation is applicable as per government policy. 15 % of
vacancies are reserved for women. However, they will be considered against
those post that suits them. For minorities 5%, for disables candidates 3% of vacancies
are reserved. Interested individuals are required to visit national testing
service (NTS) website www.nts.org.pk for
further details on application submission and selection process. Candidates
must submit the application form duly filled in along with test fee of rupees
600 in favour of national testing service on prescribe bank challan in any
branch of UBL,MCB, HBL or ABL with copy of national identity card and two recent
photographs, directly to NTS through courier service not later than July 13,
2015. Number of position against each post can be increased or decreased
without any prior notice. Final list of candidates will be uploaded on NTS
website and roll number slip can also be downloaded from same website.
